What is Purses for A Purpose (PFAP)?
Purses for A Purpose is an online auction campaign. Participants must register to bid on designer handbags. 

What will funds raised be used for?
Proceeds will directly support our community services with a designated focus area each week: Week 1-Winter Coats, Food Baskets, Holiday Gifts and Supplies; Week 2: Enhancing and Expanding Classes and Training; Week 3: Stocking The SUCCESS Pantry; and Week 4: Youth Activities and Programs. Funding will allow for expansion and enhancement of these services and ensure they can continue to be provided at no cost to clients. 

How long does PFAP last?
The auction begins November 17 and continues through December 18. The auction will only run Monday-Friday, starting at 8am and ending at 6pm each day. Passes for VIP Bidding are available for purchase beginning November 4. 

Does it cost anything to participate?
Registration for standard bidding is FREE and enters players into a drawing for the Mystery Gift Raffle, too. To access VIP Bidding there is a $28 fee. Prices of each purse up for auction will vary. Additional Mystery Gift Raffle tickets are $7 ea. 

How many purses are available?
24 BRAND NEW (with tags) designer handbags are up for auction. Featured styles include Coach, Michael Kors, Vera Bradley and Kate Spade.

How does bidding work?
Once each weekday beginning November 17 and continuing through December 18th, a new designer handbag will be posted with a starting bid. Registered bidders can make bids in even dollar amounts. The person with the highest bid when the auction closes will win that handbag.

When is payment due?
The person making the winning bid will be sent a PayPal invoice for their bid. They have 2 hours to remit payment. If payment is not received within the noted timeframe, the purse goes to the next highest bidder who will then receive a PayPal invoice and have two hours to remit payment.

How can I pay for my items?
All major credit cards are accepted through PayPal. 

Are returns accepted?
No, all purse purchases are final. No refunds will be issued. 

How will I receive my items?
Handbags will be shipped via FedEx the next business day after payment is received to the address used at auction registration.

What is the benefit of signing up for VIP Bidding?
VIP Bidding gives The SUCCESS Project the maximum amount of support, and it also gives you early access so you can preview a week of purses all at once! Each Monday the exclusive Purses for a Purpose VIP Bidding website will be updated showing items to be auctioned that week. You can then purchase purses immediately, or plan to join the bidding on the day each item goes live. What is the Mystery Gift Raffle all about?
To add to the fun, each week registered bidders will be entered in our “Mystery Gift Raffle” to win a surprise designer item! Prizes include luggage tags, umbrellas, key chains, notebooks, water bottles, lanyards, and more! Additional raffle tickets are available for $7 each on Eventbrite. Winners will be notified via email. 

How will I receive my Mystery Gift?
Prizes will be shipped via USPS to the address used at auction registration the next business day following a raffle.
